I believe that meditation and mindfulness can help towards a calmer, kinder and wiser society. My aim is to make them accessible and so I run regular courses, meditation and mindfulness events, classes for individuals and groups, and drop-in sessions in Cambridge. In this web-page, you can find all of them.
I trained to become a Meditation and Mindfulness teacher with Zenways which are part of the accredited International mindfulness teacher training program.
Why meditation and mindfulness?
Meditation and mindfulness practice helps you to deal with life circumstances in the most effective way. You can deal with stress, frustration, anxiety, anger, regrets and thoughts differently. These will not affect you so much when you will build awareness around them. Meditation and mindfulness practices help you to build this awareness in your life.
As you know, an increasing number of people are nowadays practising meditation and mindfulness and it is becoming widely accepted as incredibly beneficial for body and mind. And that is true, it really is. Meditation and mindfulness is a mass movement. People are beginning to make this a part of their lives as a way to experience life fully, healthily and consciously. There is an avalanche of scientific evidence to back that up. All areas of your lives can be improved through meditation and mindfulness; work, relationships, diet, health and so on and so forth. All you need is a map showing how this can effectively help to find the way to a truly enjoyable life. My hope is that the 8-week course and the drop-in sessions I run are these maps where, together, we can look at ways to reduce stress and anxiety, deal with physical and emotional pain, understand role and time pressure so that, ultimately, you can direct your life to a place where you will be able to enjoy it.
