What is meditation?

Meditation consists of two types:

  1. Narrow focus or gentle concentration. It helps to train the mind to stay where you put it and not wandering off or losing focus.
  2. Broad focus or open awareness. It is very good for insights. This is typically a wider and more investigative approach which helps to see more clearly how things really are. It also helps to gain deeper wisdom and understanding.

During the 8-week Meditation and Mindfulness for Wellbeing Course, we will have to opportunity to explore and practice with both types.
