Meditation consists of two types:
- Narrow focus or gentle concentration. It helps to train the mind to stay where you put it and not wandering off or losing focus.
- Broad focus or open awareness. It is very good for insights. This is typically a wider and more investigative approach which helps to see more clearly how things really are. It also helps to gain deeper wisdom and understanding.
During the 8-week Meditation and Mindfulness for Wellbeing Course, we will have to opportunity to explore and practice with both types.
